Standard Hospital Charges
- Each hospital in the United States, based on guidelines established by the Secretary, will submit a list of standard charges for services and items provided by that hospital (pp 36, lines 7 -13).
- The Secretary will work with the National Association of Insurance Commissions to set up standard guidelines for definitions for the items that are reported (pp 36, lines 14-17).
