Neither a group nor an individual health insurance plan can be rescinded for an enrollee once the enrollee is covered.
An individual or health insurance can be cancelled if the covered individual has performed an act of fraud or has intentionally, materially misrepresented material facts that are prohibited by the terms of the plan.
Cancellation of coverage requires prior notice to the enrollee (pp 19, lines 21-26. Pp 20, lines 1-5).
