McCarthy Stevenot Agency, Inc. was founded in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1991 by Mike McCarthy and Ted Stevenot. After years of working individually in the life and health insurance fields, Mike and Ted saw a need to establish a life and health insurance agency in the Cincinnati area that focused on serving the needs of small businesses.

In general, group health insurance firms tend to gravitate toward larger accounts as they grow their block of business. However, McCarthy Stevenot Agency, Inc.’s goal from the very beginning was to create success by bringing large group service to smaller employers in the Cincinnati area.
